The MATECO® 200 is a removable thermal insulation mattress specifically designed for the protection and insulation of singular points (valves, flanges, heat exchangers) in industrial environments and heating networks. Manufactured in Europe, this waterproof and economical device features a core made of glass wool (density 35 kg/m³) wrapped in a coated glass fabric. It guarantees high-performance insulation for installations subjected to continuous temperatures up to 200°C (and up to 300°C under 250 Pa of pressure). Its custom-fit design, including a drawstring closing system, offers an immediate response to the decarbonization and energy efficiency requirements of modern boiler rooms.

Each piece is carefully sized to ensure complete envelopment of the metal part without interfering with the operating mechanisms.

Thermal Insulation for 2-Way and 3-Way Valves

Shut-off or control valves are critical nodes. Our range covers 2-way valves (from DN 15/20 to DN 400) and 3-way valves (from DN 15/20 to DN 200/250). Whether for an RU-25 reference valve or massive industrial diameters, the mattress molds to the shape of the valve body while leaving actuators or handwheels perfectly accessible. This design prevents condensation and overheating of the ambient environment, thus securing personnel against accidental burns.

Insulation Mattresses for Flanges and Heat Exchangers

Flanged connections and heat exchangers have complex contact surfaces requiring flexible insulating coverage. Our flange covers are available from DN 15 to DN 250, offering a continuous envelope over the bolting. Regarding exchangers, we offer models covering dimensions ranging from 380 x 610 mm up to 1130 x 1410 mm. This specific thermal cladding makes it possible to maintain heat transfer fluids at an ideal continuous temperature, maximizing the efficiency of the exchanger while protecting the seals from external thermal shocks.

It is a flexible and removable insulation cover designed to fit the complex shapes of valves, flanges, or heat exchangers. It prevents heat loss in areas that are impossible to insulate with traditional rigid cladding.
